Backed By Psychology

We take a holistic approach to program design, incorporating psychological principles to maximize each child’s development and growth. Our programs are built on the OODA concept (Objectives, Outcome, Demonstration, and Assessment), ensuring a comprehensive understanding of every participant’s goals and progress across various disciplines.

Unlike traditional ranking or competitive evaluations, our assessment framework is relative to the overall group and encourages self-reflection. We focus on 8 key disciplines that form the foundation of our cultural, heritage, and adventure mindset programs.

Our team of highly qualified psychologists and instructors, present at every camp, identify and nurture these key disciplines in children. Through a combination of indoor and outdoor activities, we help them build on their strengths, overcome weaknesses, and develop essential life skills.

Our 8 key disciplines

  • Adaptability Quotient: Evaluating an individual’s capacity to respond to change, new information, and uncertainty when placed outside their comfort zone.
  • Coachability Quotient: Assessing an individual’s willingness to seek and accept feedback, focus on self-improvement, and actively engage in personal development.
  • Creativity Quotient: Recognizing individuals’ ability to generate innovative and out-of-the-box ideas.
  • Empathy Quotient: Measuring one’s ability to understand and empathize with the emotions of others, and how effectively they respond to those emotions.
  • Nature Quotient: Evaluating the relative influence of environmental factors (nurture) and genetic factors (nature) on an individual’s development as they transit from childhood to adulthood.
  • Risk Quotient: Assessing an individual’s innate propensity for taking risks and navigating uncertain situations.
  • Social Quotient: Gauging an individual’s ability to sense and understand the emotions of others, and intuitively respond in social interactions.
  • Kinesthetic Quotient: Fostering physical abilities and enhancing motor skills through a range of activities that promote control and coordination.

We believe that by nurturing these key disciplines, we can empower children to thrive in various aspects of their lives, fostering personal growth, resilience, and a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. Join us on this transformative journey where psychological insights pave the way for a brighter future.
